Hi all,

Just a reminder that the August PLUG seminar is on tonight (well,
depending on when you read this email). This time we've got Adrian
Chadd talking about virtualisation technologies.

 Title: Xen and Virtualisation
 Presenter: Adrian Chadd
 Date: Tuesday 14 August 2007, 7:30pm - 9:00pm
 Where: 'Futuresphere', Christ Church Grammar School
        Queenslea Drive, Claremont

 Adrian Chadd runs a web hosting business specialising in providing Xen
 virtual machines. He will be talking about his experiences in doing so,
 with the intention of making virtualisation seem less like black magic.
 The talk will cover various virtualisation methods and techniques, as
 well as some particular implementations (VMWare, Java, Xen, Linux KVM,
 jails). Or as he puts it, "Adrian will rant a bit like he normally does,
 you might pick up something useful."

We will be ordering pizza for consumption when the talk is over, and
possibly adjourning to a nearby pub for general discussion and beer
after the presentation.

As usual, visitors and friends are most welcome.
