Hi all,

Apologies for the late notice - this month we have Geoff speaking on MythTV.

Title: "MythTV: Open source content streaming"
When: Tuesday, 14th April 2009, 7:30pm - 9:00pm.
Where: 'Futuresphere', Christ Church Grammar School, Queenslea Drive, Claremont
Presenter: Geoffrey Alagoda

Geoff will be talking about MythTV, an open-source network enabled
TV and content streaming platform. He will be discussing about how
to get it up and running on several different platforms, and how to
configure it in a multi-client setup to stream TV and media to multiple
computers across a network. There may even be a demo, if hardware
cooperates.

We will be ordering pizza for consumption when the talk is over, and
possibly adjourning to a nearby pub for general discussion and drinks
after the presentation. A gold-coin donation is requested to cover the
costs of the pizza.

As usual, visitors and friends are most welcome.
