Apologies for the late notice (again) - we had some last minute
speaker changes. Thanks to Innis for volunteering at the last minute.
Title: "Working with Blender"
When: Tuesday, 12th May 2009, 7:30pm - 9:00pm.
Where: 'Futuresphere', Christ Church Grammar School, Queenslea Drive, Claremont
Presenter: Innis Cunningham
Innis will be talking about Blender, a piece of open-source software
for 3D modelling, design and animation. Blender is notable because of
adoption in the media industry, and its use in the development of
feature films such as Spider-man 3.
We will be ordering pizza for consumption when the talk is over, and
possibly adjourning to a nearby pub for general discussion and drinks
after the presentation. A gold-coin donation is requested to cover the
costs of the pizza.
As usual, visitors and friends are most welcome.
